SOS Alarm takes about 20 million emergency calls in its 18 alarm centers in Sweden. SOS Alarm handles the 112 number, which is the public special emergency call number in Sweden for getting help from all the emergency services and the police. The SOS Alarm centers are accessible 24 hours every day and co-ordinate the dispatching of the emergency services. SOS Alarm also handles other important social services such as prioritizing ambulances, preparedness for crisis, and other emergency calls. SOS Alarm has now signed an agreement with XLScheduler for the XLScheduler Workforce Management system. XLScheduler will be used for optimizing schedules for all 18 alarm centers, making sure sufficient personnel with the right skills are available to take all incoming calls to the service levels defined by SOS Alarm.
